In the NewsHarri Piiparinen has been nominated to the position of CEO/President of Marino-Vileda ProfessionalEffective May 2010, Harri Piiparinen is the newly elected CEO of Marino Manufacturing. Harri comes from Finland but has also worked and lived in Sweden and Germany. Harri has worked at Freudenberg/Vileda Professional since 1993. He was this company's first employee in Finland and has handled several positions in sales and marketing at local, regional and international levels. For the past seven years Harri has been leading the Vileda Professional business in Northern Europe. He is 49 years old and has a wife and two sons. Harri has been involved with ice hockey for 45 years; first as a player and then for the last 23 years coached junior teams in all age groups – his latest team in the last season was U-18 team Kiekko-Espoo . The Marino-Vileda Professional team here in North America is very excited to have Harri joining them and are certain that his past experiences and leadership skills will be extremely beneficial for the company moving forward. Harri is replacing Peter Erikson who has worked for Marino-Vileda Professional since the acquisition in 2007, and who will return to Europe to continue his career with the Freudenberg group of companies.
